(1) To illustrate the following paragraphs of Code of Ethics complemented with real life examples:
Paragraph 3.1.1 – Estate agents and salespersons shall refrain from activities during their practice which may infringe the law.
Paragraph 3.2.1 – Estate agents and salespersons should be fully conversant with the EAO, its subsidiary legislation, this Code of Ethics, and other guidelines issued by EAA from time to time and shall observe and comply with them in the course of their practice.
Paragraph 3.6.1 – Estate agents and salespersons should avoid accepting an appointment involving a property in which they have a beneficial interest.
Paragraph 3.6.2 – Estate agents and salespersons shall, in the event of possible or potential conflict of interest (such as representing both the vendor and the purchaser), disclose to the clients that they are so acting. Any pecuniary or other beneficial interests in relation to the property shall be disclosed fully to all parties concerned.

1. EAA CPD activities are provided for holders of valid licence only. Please make sure that your licence is still valid on the date of the activity; otherwise, the seat assigned to you will be cancelled. (Note: Application for the renewal of a licence must be made not more than three months and not less than one month before the expiry of the licence.
2. Licensees who are assigned a seat will receive a written confirmation from the EAA by fax / by e-mail (the e-mail address which a licensee registered with the EAA) several days prior to the date of the seminar. (Licensee can update his/her e-mail address or other contact information via the EAA’s on-line E-Services. For details, please refer to the EAA website.)
No separate notice will be given to unsuccessful registrants.
