English-Chinese Glossary of Terms Commonly Found in Property Information Searches
In order to help practitioners better understand the nature of the various documents in property information searches, a copy of the English-Chinese Glossary of Terms Commonly Found in Property Information Searches ("the Glossary") compiled by the Estate Agents Authority, containing the English and Chinese terms of the documents or deeds commonly found in property information searches, is enclosed.
The Glossary is for reference only and is not meant to be exhaustive. It will be updated from time to time. Depending on the circumstances, the documents named therein may, in Chinese, be cited differently with varying effects. Practitioners are advised to seek professional opinions as appropriate.
