Arrangements for Inquiry Hearings during Typhoon / Severe Weather / “Extreme Condition”

The inquiry hearing shall be adjourned until further notice if Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above or a "Black" Rainstorm Warning Signal issued by the Hong Kong Observatory, or “Extreme Condition” announcement issued by the Government remains in force any time between 7:05 a.m. and 12:00 noon for full-day hearings/ hearings in the morning or between 12:05 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. for hearings in the afternoon.  If Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above or a "Black" Rainstorm Warning Signal or “Extreme Condition” announcement is issued while the inquiry hearing is in progress, the chairman of the hearing shall decide whether to adjourn or continue with the inquiry hearing.
