| A Glossary of Commonly Used Terms for Estate Agents
The EAA is compiling a glossary of terms commonly used in the estate agency trade as an aid to practice for licensees. The glossary features special terms from legislation, contracts and other standard documents, building and construction and related disciplines. Terms frequently encountered in property transactions are also included. These terms are listed in both Chinese and English for ease of reference, and the Chinese section also features the terms in pinyin as well as their equivalents in the Mainland where such differ from those as used in Hong Kong. It is expected that the glossary will be published towards the end of the year.
