Reimbursement of Assessment Fee for CPD Activity Approved by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ)
CPD activities may be organized by the EAA, the government (under, for example, the Skills Upgrading Scheme), and certain tertiary and training institutions. Activities organized by other providers, such as trade associations and estate agencies, usually need to be assessed by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications.
To encourage the activity providers organised CPD activities, EAA reimburses $2,500 of the assessment fee (or the actual assessment fee, whichever is lower) to the activity provider for each successfully approved CPD activity. The subsidy applies to the first 100 CPD activities successfully approved by the HKCAAVQ since the start of the CPD Scheme. Each activity provider is eligible to be reimbursed for a maximum of 10 CPD activities. For details of the Scheme and application, please contact Professional Development Section of EAA.
