EAA’s one-off Professional Development Subsidy for Licensees

Holders of a valid estate agent’s licence (individual) or salesperson’s licence as at 31 March 2020 will each receive a one-off professional development subsidy of $500 (herein referred to as “the Subsidy”) from the Estate Agents Authority (“EAA”) to assist them in developing and maintaining their professional service standard under the current difficult operating environment.

Eligible Recipients of the Subsidy

The Subsidy will be granted to:

  1. each individual licensee holding a valid licence (i.e. estate agent’s (individual) or salesperson’s) as at 31 March 2020; and
  2. each individual who has submitted an application for a licence (i.e. estate agent’s (individual) or salesperson’s) on or before 31 March 2020 and whose licence is approved latest by 31 March 2021.

There is no need for submitting any application for the Subsidy.

Address Update

To reduce the risk of mail loss of the cashier’s order, please update your “Registered Address” by 31 March 2020 if necessary. The Registered Address can be updated via the EAA’s e-Services or by submitting the completed form of “Notice of Change of Personal Information”, which can be downloaded from the EAA website.

Any undelivered cashier’s order will only be handled after 1 August 2020. Please allow another one to two months for checking and reissuing the cashier’s order.
