Re: Register of electors could not be found

The Estate Agents Authority (“EAA”) received a letter from the Registration and Electoral Office (“REO”) regarding the incident that a register of electors used for the 2016 Legislative Council General Election could not be found.

The REO would like to remind licensees to take necessary precautionary measures so as to avoid any possible crime by identity theft using the data concerned in order to protect the interests of the clients.
