The 15th Anniversary of the Estate Agents Authority

The Estate Agents Authority (EAA) is a statutory body that was established under the Estate Agents Ordinance in November 1997. Over the past 15 years, the EAA has regulated the practice of estate agents to ensure compliance with the law. It has also actively promoted the professional standards and status of the trade through continuing professional training.

The EAA’s regulatory regime is firmly in place after 15 years of development. Its work continues to evolve and improve in response to the changing property market and practices of estate agents. To celebrate our 15th anniversary, the EAA has organised a series of events, including an anniversary reception, professional forum and TV advertisements. This website has been launched to share with the public the most important milestones of the EAA, and highlights of the anniversary events.
