In Hong Kong, discrimination with regard to sex, disability and family status is prohibited by law and racial discrimination is discouraged by the government and frowned upon by the community at large. As an initiative to help practitioners cope with situations where discrimination might become an issue in the course of their daily business, the EAA has invited representatives from the Equal Opportunities Commission and the Home Affairs Bureau to speak at a seminar on Tuesday, 5th November 2002 at the EAA Multi-Purpose Room, 11th floor, 88 Gloucester Road, Wanchai, commencing at 2:30 pm.
