The EAA continued its efforts to promote estate agency as a career to young graduates of the tertiary institutions. The EAA took part in the Career Week of the Hong Kong Baptist University on 25-27 September where career opportunities in various professions and the civil service. The EAA will be next at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University for their Career exhibition in late November 2001. The activities aim at providing information on career opportunities in the estate agency business, entrance requirements, as well as typical career paths.

EAA representatives also visited the City University of Hong Kong and Lingnan University and gave talks on careers in estate agency to final-year students, in September and November respectively. Students who attended were mainly from the Surveying and Business Administration disciplines and their interest was well evidenced by the many pertinent questions raised.
