To be granted a salesperson's licence or an estate agent's licence (individual), an applicant must

(i) have attained the age of 18 years at the date of application ;
(ii) have completed a Form Five educational level or its equivalent ;
(iii) have passed the relevant qualifying examination in the 12 months immediately prior to the application ; and
(iv) be a fit and proper person to hold a licence.



To be granted an estate agent's licence (company), an applicant must

(i) be a company ;
(ii) have at least one director holding a valid estate agent's licence ;
(iii) have a licensed estate agent in control of the company's estate agency business ;
(iv) have directors who are all fit and proper ;
(v) be itself (the company) fit and proper to hold a licence.
