Licences will be sent to successful applicants by ordinary mail unless applicants request the licences be sent by registered mail.

A licence may also be collected in person if specifically requested by the applicant. In such cases, the applicant will be notified by mail when the licence is available for collection.

The applicant can bring along the notice together with his / her HKID card or valid travel document for collecting the licence. If the applicant wishes to authorise a representative to collect the said document, he / she should sign the authorisation on the notice.
