| Professional Development
The Estate Agents Authority was established in November 1997 under the Estate Agents Ordinance, Cap. 511. Its principal function is, among others, to take such action as necessary to promote competence of estate agents and salespersons. The Professional Development Section shares the responsibilities to implement this objective.

Continuing Professional Development Scheme
To enhance the competence of practitioners and the currency of their professional knowledge, EAA launched a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Scheme on a voluntary basis in May 2005. EAA and training institutes will offer a variety of learning activities which can be found on this website.
